GREENVILLE, Texas – The Herald-Banner seeks a business manager and regional

controller for the media group’s mid-South community newspapers and related business


This position will directly supervise a regional business hub with employees serving a dozen or more newspaper locations with financial reporting, accounts payable processing and payroll services. As a key member of the senior management team, this person will provide strategic business analysis to location managers, as well as timely and accurate

financial and operating information to the CFO and company executives.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management with an accounting emphasis, and at least three years of experience in accounting. Demonstrated competence in balance sheet and income statement accounting is essential.

The Herald-Banner is a five-day newspaper. In addition to the newspaper, we publish a quarterly lifestyle magazine and two weekly newspapers: Rockwall County Herald-Banner and Royse City Herald-Banner, and robust websites, www.heraldbanner.com,

www.rockwallheraldbanner.com and www.Roysecityheraldbanner.com.

Located in northeast Texas, Greenville is about 50 miles from Dallas. The growing region is known for its vibrant music scene, annual community events and magnificent

entertainment venues. The city regularly hosts The Dallas Symphony concerts and is

actively expanding its diverse public art program.
