City of McLendon-Chisholm - Notice of Special Election
To the registered voters of the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, notice is hereby given that the polling place is located at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, 1371 West FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, Texas 75032 and will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, for voting in a Special Election for the purpose of abolition of an additional sales and use tax within the McLendon-Chisholm city limits at the rate of 0.5 percent and the adoption of a local sales and use tax in McLendon-Chisholm at the rate of 0.5 percent to provide revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets.
Early Voting by personal appearance shall be conducted at City of McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, 1371 West FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, Texas 75032 on the following dates:
Mon. April 20, 2026 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Wed. April 22, 2026 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thurs. April 23, 2026 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Fri. April 24, 2026 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sat. April 25, 2026 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Mon. April 28, 2026 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m
Tues. April 29, 2026 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Applications for ballot by mail shall be requested, received and processed by the Rockwall County Elections Administrator, Christopher J Lynch, located, 1101 E Yellow Jacket Ln Suite 150 Rockwall, Texas, 75032. Applications for ballots by mail must be received no later than the close of business on April 20, 2026.

The Abolition of an additional sales and use tax within the McLendon-Chisholm city limits at the rate of 0.5 percent and the adoption of a local sales and use tax in McLendon-Chisholm at the rate of 0.5 percent to provide revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets.
